Guaranteed laughs at every lesson (learning music should be fun or why would we do it?)

 

• Lessons are offered on a weekly basis for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Lessons for adults are more flexible.

 

• I schedule lessons according to neighborhood. For example, if you live in Pasadena, there are certain days of the week I'm in your neighborhood and can accommodate your schedule. If you live outside of the areas I teach in (Pasadena, South Pasadena, Arcadia, Altadena or La Canada), you can come to my home for lessons in Central Pasadena (availability is somewhat limited).

 

• Lessons are available after school into the evenings, on weekends (during the school year only) and sometimes before school. Daytime lessons are available for home-schoolers and adults as well.

 

• We have 2 required recitals per year (optional for adult students), in the autumn and in the spring.

 

• 24-hour notice is required for non-emergency lesson cancellations, and you are allowed one excused absence per month. 

 

• I'm sorry, but in order to ensure regular progress (especially for beginning and intermediate students) we do not take summers off.

 

• There are small ensemble and chamber music opportunities available to our young musicians as need dictates.
